Worthington lll- Round 11- House 19

Welcome to The Worthington III Family. They are... :)

 Francis J, his wife Tina (Lothario- twin sister to Val). They had twins themselves, Charles J and Candice J.

 Having lived in a cramped town house for the first round this working couple found they were able to afford a new house to start the round now that they were both Top of Career. Tina a Celebrity Chef and Francis J a Media Magnate.

and thanks to a good bonus at work for Francis J, they were able to afford to decorate and furnish it! 

Family Sim Tina enjoys keeping up with her friendships.

 The twins work on their skill building. 

 Tina can now make all kind of clothes thanks to her hard work at Sewing.

She juggles her job as a Celebrity Chef with taking care of her home and children.

 She even gets to enjoy five minutes peace in her new bathroom.

 and that in her new bedroom... :) 

Tina has wishes for another baby but as she's perma platinum I am not fulfilling her wishes anymore. 

 The toddlers become children.  First Charles J.

Then Candice J. She got more of her Father's 'unusual' features I think.

 Their first wishes were to earn a skill, and playing at the table also built their already good friendship to best friendship.

 Charles J wished for a puppy to join the family and so the burgeoning pool of puppies was lessened by one as little Brina joined the family. (Her doggy parents are Curly & Alegra and they are human owned by Tina's brother Marco and his wife Cass).

 Candice J wishes to stargaze, a lot. I hope this isn't tempting fate for future years.

 As outgoing Sims both children brought a friend home from school. Charles J brought home Dandy Dreamer.

and Candice J brought home Bobby Broke.

 Playtime was cut short by Dad Francis J as he insisted on helping first Charles J, 

 then Candice J with their homework.

 The hard work paid off for Charles J when he showed off his A+ card to his Mother.

 Charles J's wishes revolve around Brina mainly, he wants to become her Master.

 Tina spends lots of time in the vast garden raking leaves and doing a spot of fishing. She even got chance to get fit. 

Francis J actually did some cooking one day. Tina must have been at work. :D

 He got Charles J to help with some chores before school.

 On Saturday the family were invited to a community lot and so with the children in mind they headed to the Similar Sights Sculpture Park. A Park I've never visited before!

 They all launched into sociable mode and talked to everyone.

 Naturally Francis J would be drawn to the Diva. Should we be worried that Tina is chatting to the Slob? :D  Of course he is married to her twin sister Val!

 Hands up who knew children could use this?! 'That 70's show' flashback anyone? :D

On Sunday it was family day and Tina invited as many of her large family over that could come.

 Francis J insisted on teaching the children some skills before they could meet the family. First Candice.

 She was very excited to meet her Grandmother Kaylynn and Aunt Celeste for the first time.

The thing I love about career rewards is that a Sim can learn from more than one at a time when being tutored. As Francis J and Tina have just these two skill builder rewards the kids get to learn cooking and mechanical at the same time. (I have found a child can learn 4 skills at once though if you have the rewards available).

Also... have you ever seen their expressions when they learn from the operating table?

 hmm, yes, interesting...

 ewww, feeling a bit icky now...

"GROSS!"

 It would be funny if Charles J was destined to be a Doctor after all that. :D

Meanwhile the family catch up. Tina plays red hands with her twin brother Marco whilst his twin brother Juan catches up with their youngest sister Celeste.

 The girls sit down and enjoy some cake.

 Tina greets a late arrival in her sister Kaydon.

at the same time remembering that unless she wants to lose precious family items she really needs to take care of those red bills!

Summary- quite a fun week here at the Worthington III's. 

Both Francis J and Tina are permanently platinum having gained those last round so I left them to their own devices mainly.

The kids had usual kid wishes, playing with Brina, stargazing, doing homework, making friends.

If you recognise the house it's one from the old TSR challenges. I think this one was the Renovation challenge house. I liked the house so much I'd packaged it up and it suits this family and hopefully will be filled for future generations. 

I have 2 other 'new' families, the Long sisters and newly divorced Jan (Tellerman) Gregory but I'm going to add them in next round with some new rules and so this is the last family in Round 11!

Williamson- Round 11 - House 18

Welcome back to the Williamson house.

A recap from last time. William Williamson, Erin Wren (zombie), Klara Vonderstein & Almeric Davis moved here after college. William was flying along in his career and attained his LTW by becoming Head of SCIA, only to finish work one day to find his flatmates had all perished in a fire started when Almeric burnt the crepes suzettes he was cooking.

William then invited his college friend Melanie (Reamon) to move in, they fell in love and got married... 

Here they are, both Fortune Sims.  As I said William is perma plat, he is now pursuing the Artist career. Melanie has a wish to earn 100K and so took a job in the Athletic career.

They have a Butler, Zion. He is pretty useless, he does make the bed and water a couple of plants but he's really just a bestie of both of them and he's normally dismissed pretty early in the day unless either Sim needs a social boost.

William wished to meet someone new and greeted the first walk by of the day.

Hmm, Melanie feels she needs the practice....

Woop! Win for Melanie as she earns lots of skills.

All that practice paid off and she came home with a promotion..

and a friend... Abhijeet was the long suffering fiancé of Nina Caliente if you remember... (she hardly did in her lifetime) *heh*.

Klara's ghost is the first to come out on Monday night. She never came in the house so William & Melanie slept well.

On Tuesday both Sims had wishes to vacation in the Far East. Melanie booked their cab to come tomorrow and burnt pancakes for William's breakfast.

"Yum, *gag*…" :D

Whilst Melanie had a nice soak in the tub William prepared their clothes for the trip.

Having lots of money already meant they could stay somewhere nice so they headed to a fine hotel.

It seems Crime is on the up in this resort, with various holidaymakers talking about police and jail. 

William tried his luck with the Ninja but it was no good for him. (He only saw the Ninja once in 3 days).

 Ah well, walking for you then William.

He and Melanie treated themselves to some new clothes, jewellery and souvenirs.

They met a Wise Old Man who told them a tale of dragons.

William's secondary aspiration is Romance, so he wished for public woohoo. He also wishes to have woohoo with 5 Sims, already having had 3 in college.

They spent the rest of the vacation going on trips, learning a massage and relaxing in the sauna.

Before leaving the next day refreshed and ready for home.

William chose to continue with his Floristry badge.

Almeric Davis came out to haunt. 

Melanie got the brunt of that.

(On a side note, gutted that Almeric died as I've never played him through a lifetime).

On Thursday William became an expert Florist.

Zion welcomed guests to the house, a Barista lady and two of his employers' college and secret society friends, Karen & Phoebe Long.

I decided as they shared a surname that it was time for some new 'families' to spice things up and so moved them in...

First Karen, 

Then Phoebe.

Then moved them out... where they will join Round 12 at some point. 

William hit the Zone in Arts & Crafts.

Mel too is working her way to the zone, she loves to paint and sell masterpieces.

William remembered they had a garden, don't recall who started it but he figured he may as well make use of it and earn another badge.

Yes, he also became a Visionary, earning lots more money.

On his first shift as a Visionary on Saturday he chose to 'Pay Bill'...

Whoop... what a shame this wasn't Mel's chance card!

Mel's no slacker though, she's earning good money and working her way to her 100K with promotions. (25K achieved today).

A quick chat with friends after work (here talking with Plantsim Vampire Frond) to keep that friend count high.

William often wishes to stargaze at the telescope but there are no signs of alien life for him. Mel is lounging on the bench behind.

uhoh, Erin's ghost came out to haunt.

oops, Poor Mel got the full force of it. 

On Sunday when Mel left for work William's wish to woohoo 5 wasn't going away and so he called over townie Yusun.

After dazzling her with smartglasses they wound up in his bed.

meanwhile...

A chance card for Melanie popped up. She had to act fast and chose the Heimlich.

Yes a promotion, but uhoh she's coming home.... 

Melanie did come home but thankfully there were a couple of hours left until the end of a new shift which meant I could let her walk straight to work. She did and was completely unaware of the goings on inside the house.

Which was probably just as well... 

She came home with a promotion to 'Coach'. 

William greeted her as if nothing had happened, as Romance loving Sims do. ;)

That night saw all 3 ghosts out-a-haunting. None of them ventured into the house though which seemed like a missed opportunity. :D

Summary,

A good week here at the Williamson house.

I know William is perma plat and so I'm not fulfilling too many wishes but had to do something to break up the 'buy this and that' wishes and his Romance wishes soon kicked in. 

Melanie earned 25K when she became a Superstar on Saturday, and 2 further promo's on Sunday helped boost that even further I'm sure.

I think next round maybe I can get one of them a job in Paranormal to see if we can't resurrect a Sim, or two. Maybe Almeric can have his life back after all.

Talking of ghosts they aren't doing a lot, just floating around mostly and not slowing the lot down.

No wishes for either Sim to have babies, if it happens to William at the telescope I'll let it be but don't intend for these two to be parents together.
