Marco & Cass Lothario- Round 12- House 15

Welcome back to Marco & Cass Lothario's house.

Marco is the son of Don & Kaylynn, he has a twin brother Juan who married into the Goth family.

Cass is also a twin with brother Nova, her parents are Samantha Goth & Lucas Burb and her maternal Grandmother was Cassandra Goth, her paternal Grandparents were John and Jennifer Burb.

They live in this house I built from the opening credits in the original game. It's a real party house which suits Popularity Sim Marco & Pleasure loving Cass.

There are always lots of walkby's and if they are home everyone is invited in.

Marco & Cass never had wishes for children but instead adopted local strays Alegra and Curly, they have had 14 puppies so far, the last 3 being Boe, Moe & Joe.

Alegra  gets taught  a new skill as she's working in the Service career.

Marco picks the wrong choice on a chance card and ends up with a demotion.

He enjoys a nice swim after work and makes some cocktails.

He and Cass enjoy working on their hula skills.

As they say goodbye to two of the puppies Cass says goodbye to one of her guests.

Little Joe looks up to his dad Curly.

Both Alegra & Curly dislike the Postie and spend ages chasing him around the yard. 

Cass starts a new day by making her 30th best friend, her secondary aspiration is Popularity.

Poor Marco is going down the ranks fast with his bad choices on chance cards.

He did walk straight back to a shift and managed to get a promotion though the same day.

Little Joe grew up, he's got a cute mix of both his parents.

Marco gets Joe into the Security career and teaches him a trick.

Cass and Marco love teaching their pets. 

Alegra earned some money from a chance card- at least someone in the house gets them right!

Cass and Marco went to the new shopping place in town, H&M Pleasantview. 

They had a good time chatting to neighbours and Cass shared some gossip with her twin brother Nova.

It didn't take Joe long to rise through the ranks of the Security career.

On Friday the couple decide to visit their Twikki Beach house for a break...

They are looking forward to a relaxing time.

They've been friends with most of the locals for some time.

Who doesn't love getting a tan?

Nothing like an evening watching the waves.

Of course no vacation is without the usual local fights. One day I'll figure out what happened to set it off. :D

The situation soon diffuses and it's everyone back to Marco & Cass' for a last party before they go home.

Yes, their party rocked. A great end to a great break away.

Almost as soon as they get home Alegra becomes an elder dog. After 14 puppies she deserves her rest.

Cass though immediately wishes for a puppy and she adopts girl puppy Rebel who I think came from the Broke household and is possibly a half wolf pup.

Marco invites his twin brother Juan with his new family over on Saturday. That's Hans, Ivy, Juan and his wife Wednesday and their teenage son Gale.

As the brothers catch up the snow starts to fall.

Marco & Juan's sister Kaydon made an impromptu visit as well and the party came indoors out of the cold.

Cass is no wimp and enjoys some fun in the snow with the dogs around the water wiggler.

The final day of the week brings birthdays. First is Marco surrounded by family and friends.

Another elder who keeps his dark hair colour but got a bit cold even though the snow had disappeared.  :0

Then it's Cass' turn.

She glams up to enjoy her party but as is normal in Pleasantview the cops come and bust up the party as 11pm comes around.

It was still a great party.

So ends the week at Marco & Cass' place. 

Summary-

Lots of training dogs! Both Curly and Alegra are elder dogs now and maybe will retire next round.

It felt action packed with parties and the vacation, always a fun house to play and I'm looking forward to the next round here.

Verne Broke- Round 12- House 14

 

Welcome back to the household of Verne Broke. Verne was an alien twin born to ex maid Remington who married Brandi Broke. Verne's twin brother Jules sadly died in a house fire, here but he took solace in his love for his college dormie friend Lucy (Seifert) and here they are hamming it up for the camera. 

They live here in the old Caliente house, which they have adapted to suit themselves.

Last round all Verne could think about was babies- He is a Family sim after all and after a lovely getaway to the Far East, his Knowledge loving wife was acceptable to his charms and soon their own little bundle will be on its way.

A day off for both today as Lucy chats to walkby neighbours.

Verne greets young passerby Gallagher Newson who recently became a teen.

Babies on his mind even when tending the garden.

Maybe this isn't the kind of baby Verne had in mind but Lucy had wished for a puppy for some time.

They called this adorable puppy Skippy.

Verne worked quite late until he'd got his Silver Gardening Badge.

He'd only been asleep a short while when he was awoken by Lucy's labour screams!

and mine!!!

  a daughter, 

and a son!

They name their alien skin-toned son Remy, and their olive skin-toned daughter Rebecca. It looks like the twins have similar facial features but we'll know better when they become toddlers.

The next morning was a work day as usual. After a hearty breakfast Verne headed to work.

He travels by helicopter, as is befitting his status as a Cult Leader in the Paranormal career.

Lucy is a Mad Scientist and so works late into the night. She hired a nanny and spent her day stargazing,

chatting to friends,

and even checked on the babies once or twice. :)

Unfortunately she made a bad decision at work and was demoted to Theorist.

The next day Verne was up early tending the plants and got a nice gift of a Gold Badge.

Skippy grew up into a big dog! He's cute, the offspring of Alegra & Curly, both of whom are strays and live at the home of Marco & Cass Lothario, we will visit their house next update!

Lucy uses the time while the Nanny is around to take him for a new collar.

She got Skippy a job in the Security career and began his training straight away.

Later that day the twins became toddlers! They both appear to have an alien nose but otherwise have normal features, much like their dad.

A hectic day covering all the training skills the toddlers require!

Verne still made time for his good friends though.

He also welcomed his family. Half sister Eliza, her husband Adam and their youngest son Bobby had come for a visit.

Bobby laughed when his Uncle showed off his college picture, showing his 'true' features before he resorted to plastic surgery to give himself a fancy nose. 

Lucy came home with a promotion, a friend and a discount for furnishings!

On Saturday evening the toddlers became kids. Goodbye potties and lack of sleep!

She took the kids downtown to choose themselves a new style.

Yes, I like their choices. :D

Rebecca is super neat, outgoing, playful and very active, though a grump.

Remy is super nice, highly playful and outgoing, fairly neat and a little lazy. 

They have a fairly grown up room in keeping with the black and white theme of their parents' decor.

Thankfully the adults are too old now to procreate, but that doesn't stop them having fun on a Sunday morning.

Remy joined his sister outside at the skilling table, while Lucy gave Skippy a bath and Verne tended the vegetable garden.

He needs to teach Skippy to 'play dead' in order for him to move on from his current position as Contraband Sniffer.

Knowledge loving Lucy of course wished for the best education for her children and the Headmaster's visit was a great success giving them a score of 45/45/38 which totalled 128/90. It will certainly help the children come home happier given they are both 8 on the playful scale. 

The evening wasn't done though, and as soon as the Headmaster left a party was called for, to celebrate Verne's wander into the Elder realm!

Here he is in a snazzy suit, he kept his dark wig which I hope doesn't confuse me next time. :D

As the party comes to an end, so does our week here at Verne's household. We will see what's in store next time around. :)

Summary;-

A busy week of Gardening and friendships for Verne, as well as teaching and helping with the babies.

For Lucy she spent lots of time training Skippy, calling friends and working to get her promotions back!

As they were both permanent platinum and therefore not directed by me too often I called for the Nanny to make things a little more authentic.

The twins being born on Monday went through their life stages fairly quickly and are the best of friends and enjoying school and skilling.
