The Senior Residence.

Welcome to the Senior Residence! Beautifully created by Librarian it's been in Pleasantview for a while and now I'm ready to use it.

I changed a few little bits here and there but the layout is the same.

Our 3 elderly residents are plantsim Leaf Terrano, Campbell Goth and Mario Caliente.

Campbell has long been a fan of Tinkering and bought his trusty train track with him which sits in one of the lovely spots on the front lawn.

Mario bought the common cold with him. :D

and Leaf brought his secondary aspiration of lovin' that grilled cheese.

Leaf started a few garden plots and as it was Autumn upon moving in it wasn't long before he could start to sweep leaves to make some organic compost. In one or other of these chaps' backpacks were a hydro and cleaning bot so they were placed and activated.

Leaf came to the Residence with two of the family cats, Fitz here sleeping on the windowsill,

and Kitty, who Leaf spends some time training in a new skill for promotion for her.

Mario is a Romance sim and while he has been perma-plat for some time still enjoys catching the eye of any lady that walks past and smooth talking her.

On the other front lawn sits a bubble machine which was also in someone's backpack and Leaf's good friend the Count Grayson enjoys partaking in some silliness with both Leaf & Mario.

Of his own accord the Count decided to go and rake some leaves. Perhaps he's a neat freak?

Campbell painted all the portraits that sit in Goth Manor and continued his painting here.

I replaced the original Poker table with the Mahjong table thinking Sims may be less drawn to it, but alas they are not. The latest walkby headed straight for it but he and the 3 residents enjoyed a fun evening playing.

The next morning Leaf had much to contend with as both bots went crazy!

Yuh, I don't think hitting it really hard will fix it somehow.

In Leaf's backpack came a filled juicer or two and Campbell happily helped himself to a skill point.

Mario chose the 'pink room' as his bedroom.

Fitz became an older cat but rolled no wish to retire yet.

He finished the Portraits of the three Founding members of this Residence, Mario, Leaf and himself. 

We end for now with Leaf and Count Grayson enjoying a weird light moment, overdosing on bubbles perhaps?!

Summary:-

A fun few days here at the Senior Residence. I only played a short time while I figure out where they will fit in the natural playlist.

All are perma plat and so I didn't direct them a whole lot save for a few interactions and meeting/greeting.

Next round we are off to the Plant Sim Gregory household!

The Miguel Family- Round 12- House 12

 

Welcome back to the Miguel Family!  From left;- Damian, Melanie, Ripley, Adriana, Sophie, Alvin and young Ethan.

This is a home of two couples. Alvin (adopted son of Lucy Hanby- ex maid) and his wife Melanie Gregory (he took her name). They had their son Damian who lives here with his wife Adriana and their son Ethan. Their other son was Graham and he lives with the two plant Sims (spawned by Alvin (Thorn & Frond) when he too was a plant sim).

The other couple are Ripley and Sophie Miguel. Ripley was the first alien born in the 'hood to Darren Dreamer, she married her high school friend Sophie Miguel who grew up with her. They are both Witches following the path of the light.

Alvin's brother is Harry Oldie-Hanby, the only werewolf in the hood, he often pops by in the middle of the night so it's a good job elders never sleep. :D

Adriana is a Knowledge Sim and got a nice bonus boost when she finished her last skill. She got a job in the Artist field, putting her college degree to good use.

Little Ethan has no idea yet what life has in store for him but enjoys a nightly peek through the telescope.

Also living here are dogs Mungo & Tiffany, they have had several puppies, the newest being Opal who is just out of shot.

Sophie is without doubt the hardest sim to please, she has many skills but would rather spy on her neighbours through the telescope during the day which brings the angry Goopy Gilscarbo Pleasant out spoiling for a fight.

ah this isn't going to end well Goopy...

Heh, you should know better than to bully a witch Goopy! I think Sophie cast a spell to make Goopy fat, I'll find out next time I play his house I guess.

Sophie has a gold badge in Cosmetology and Adriana showed a wish to start to learn- some good results and some not so good. :D

Poor Calista was madeover several times and each time yielded the same result, so she is walking around the 'hood looking this way. :D

Some others from the whole week here looking pretty pleased with their makeovers. 

Melanie the family sim takes forever to get out of the way when she arrives home from work after cheering for half a hour. :)

A bug in the bath saw both Tiffany and Mungo getting a bath! Nothing move_objects and a new bath didn't fix though. 

Damian seems to be another dull sim, he works, he sews, he stargazes... rinse, repeat. :)

 One of my favourite spells is to summon the spectral cleaner. 

hmm, Mungo is finding them quite interesting... are they there? are they not there?

On Wednesday the family head for an outing with Jordan the Diva and friends. 

Everyone loves a smustle.

It's rare to see two of my autonomously turned vampires in the same room, Randy on the far table talking with Tosha Go and Komei having a catch up with Meadow.

It's Ethan's birthday!

Welcome to Teenhood!

He doesn't look much like anyone in the family, :D

Like all of my teenage boys he enjoys chatting up Ivy though.

Ethan strives to be a Family Sim. 

The newly retired Ripley waves Alvin off as he heads to work while she is pleased she can finally relax.

Growing up with so many adults means Ethan has lots of friends already and they regularly give him goodies for his backpack.

Sophie got a demotion from a chance card,

which annoyingly was the day she too had to retire, thus reducing her pension. Not that this family are hard up, but the big bucks are always a bonus.

Alvin too retired, it was a busy ol' Thursday! 

To finish the day young Opal became an adult. I like her combo of Mum & Dad. Alvin got her a job in the Security field.

On Saturday Sophie waved Melanie into retirement. Now only the adults are working.

Ethan rolls a wish for college every day, his personality suits him as Fortune or Knowledge but the dice made him Family.

He got a fright when he found out a possible dorm mate would be Jessie the vampire!

He and Ivy had a first date downtown.

On Sunday morning there were gifts all around.

Then Ethan called his cab for College.

The rest of the family decided on an outing for a catch up with friends and a fun time was had at the local bowling alley.

Adriana finished off the week by earning a Bronze badge.

uhoh, a grim figure heading toward this trio, but who will he pick today?

Aww it's Alvin.

Bye Alvin, he leaves a nice legacy behind. 

and that's where we leave the Miguel household for this round. 

Summary-

As Alvin, Sophie & Ripley were all 75 I wasn't sure who would go first. Alvin was adopted as a child by Lucy Hanby after the birth of her and Herb Oldie's son Harry so that he and Alvin could grow up together. 

Next time I think we will lose both Sophie and Ripley early on, and Melanie is just 2 days younger so perhaps won't be far behind.

Hopefully Adriana will master more skills on the makeover bench,  it's great as she can just offer a makeover to a passerby and they will jump in the chair then leave straight after so there are no lingering Sims unless she especially greets them to make them hang out. After 12 rounds it is quite nice to have some 'new look' old faces around. :D

I've had a few 'new' Family Sims this round and yet none of them show the LTW to raise puppies/kittens. I have so many in the adoption pool now as well!
