Broke- Round 12- House 4

 Here we are back at The Broke household.  Let's catch up...

 Eliza Broke is the daughter of Brandi Broke and Remington (ex maid). 

She married Adam Pleasant (who is the son of Angela Pleasant and Alexander (Goth)).

They are both Icons in the Showbiz career and as such could afford this splendid home they live in which was made by my old friend Val who ran 'The Sims2 Estates' website back in the day... :)

They are also perma-plat so are not controlled by me much although I am trying to get a few fears in here and there for amusement. 

 They have 2 sons, the eldest is teen Barnabas who is a Romance sim like his dad. He wishes to become a Rock God and spends his life playing guitar or the piano when I'm not looking. He still rolls a wish to go to college so we'll see if it's there at the end of the week.

 Young Bobby enjoys dancing with his dad and big brother and likes playing with the family dogs, currently we have Skippy and Vivian (mother and daughter) and a cat Bingley.

I'd like the house to continue on with Brandi's pet legacy, she started off when she wished to raise 20 puppies or kittens and was the first Sim I had do so. 

 On this fine Monday morning Barnabas made a new friend in the paper kid.

 He also brought Ivy Copur home after school. Hmm, she's dated many, many teens in my hood and Barnabas is hoping to be one on that list. :D

 Eliza reminisces about that morning's Woohoo wish with her husband...

 before throwing herself a birthday party. 

 Elderhood here we come! I like how she kept her custom dark hair. Blade and Lily Terrano are here. Blade is Eliza's cousin as his dad was her half-brother Dustin. Does that make him a half-cousin? :D

 She dances with her other half-brother Carter. He was the baby-in-the-belly of Brandi when the game began. Not sure who Lily is throwing hearts at but I think it might be either Harry Oldie-Hanby or Lucas Burb (who I think are wearing the same outfit, haha).

"So how do you like your eggs in the morning?"... Although he's young, Romance loving Barnabas isn't slow to try a line on college gal DJ Verse.

 Maybe we'll find out the answer if he hits the dorms at Sim State! She didn't run of off so that is a good sign, :D

Eliza had a great party. 

 Being a master sewer she soon knocked herself up a new outfit.

 I admit I have surpressed Adam's romance wishes and he's a good dad doing things such as helping Bobby with his homework. 

 Barnabas enjoys his part time job and needs the money for his date later...

 With the kitchen to himself Bobby chose to eat cake for dinner... and why not?

 Whilst Adam gave Skippy a bath Vivian's father (the Leader of the Pack named Balin) stopped by to visit. 

 Wednesday is Snow Day! 

 Not for the adults of course who fly off to work as Icons. They leave instructions for the boys to tend the garden and the pets...

 and they did that as well as inviting friends over and greeting passing neighbours, playing games, guitar and um, well, not really doing much in the way of anything their parents said. :D

 After work Eliza went for a hike but got chased home by a swarm of bees.

Looks like the boys missed a shrub or two :D

 Barnabas finally got a 'yes' from Ivy when he asked for a date. It was a dream date but he doesn't want to be tied down to one girl.

 Still working on their dancing skills...

 he also rolls wishes to study and today he was learning Fire Safety.

 and he searched the skies most nights for extra terrestrial life. 

 Mostly he stayed out too long until he was freezing. :)

 Adam rolled a wish for a party and it was fulfilled for his elder birthday later on Thursday.

 he too kept his custom hair.

 He chose an outfit from the wardrobe that his wife had made then joined everyone for a birthday shuffle/slap dance. 

 Another great party.

 Friday saw lots of jobs being done around the house with pets and garden being forefront of the work.

Vivian and her friend Andy the wolf got cosy enough to try for puppies.

 Bobby brought Leo Pleasant (alien son of Goopy (Gilscarbo) Pleasant and one of a set of twins) home from school.

 Finally after a week of hikes Adam had a skunk follow him home and his and Bobby's fear of Skippy being sprayed by a skunk was fulfilled!

 Skippy gets an outdoor bath. 

 The brothers become best friends.

 and later on Friday Bobby is about to turn into a teenager...

 Not sure who Carter is giving that glare to but no doubt we'll find out when we are next at his house! Is it townie Shea Johnston who was throwing hearts at his half sister? 

 Bobby is a Popularity Sim with a wish to become Captain Hero. 
He looks a lot like his grandad Remington I think.

He works his way around the room of invited teenage girls to see if there are any attractions.

 until the police arrive and bust up the party. Spoilsports!

 The next morning he put on a custom outfit that his mother made and went with the family to a community lot for a spot of shopping and socialising.

 He had a good chat with Connie Goth (who is the daughter of Samantha and granddaughter of Cassandra).

 Barnabas enjoyed making a new acquaintance in retail assistant Ericka Grove and didn't dare turn around as his parents put on a very public display of affection (watched by slightly stalkerish Matthew Picaso).

 On Sunday morning Eliza spent some time with her eldest son.

 Before handing him a few gifts from her backpack. 

 Family day and the Terrano's arrive at the same time Barnabas greeted his new friend Ericka.

 The family were just in time to see the arrival of Vivian's puppies...

 3 of them! 2 girls and a boy, Raine, Rebel and Roan.

 We are only keeping one puppy. I have decided that whichever puppy the family have the best relationship with at the end of the day will stay.

 Barnabas loves to give out roses to keep his girlfriends sweet. 

 While most of the family eat at the dining table...

 Barnabas chooses to eat alfresco with his new friend although he seems a little freaked out about her swooning. 

 After she'd gone he decided to bolt... to college and college girls! Bye Mum & Dad!

Slightly dodgy looking outfit but we'll see him again soon!

The decision is made and it's Raine who stays. Adam hugs her as her brother and sister make their way to the adoption pool.

and the week here ends much the same way as it begun only now these two are Elders! 

Summary.

A fun week at this Broke household. It's was heavily pet and garden oriented as well as both boys being forefront of wish fulfilment.

I didn't get many fears in, mainly because they were about the dogs being sprayed by a skunk and people dying. :D

When the puppies came along I decided the best way to choose was to let the puppy decide! I figured all the sims usually pick up and play with the puppies without direction so it was nice to wait until the end of the day when I looked at each puppy to see which Sims they had the highest relationship with. Raine won by quite a margin having bonded with all the family.

Although Barnabas rolled Romance he seems to be quite a knowledge lover but hey what's wrong with both?
He left for college with skill, dance and over achiever scholarships as well as some goodies his Mother gifted him.

Hopefully Bobby might join him in college next round but we'll see what the dice rolls for him. He's currently rolling for skills, friends and interactions with the animals.
