Dreamer- Round 12- House 5

Welcome back to The Dreamer household after 4 real life years! 

Living here are from left to right... Lyka (child of Lilith (Pleasant) and Dirk Dreamer), her daughter Deanna, servo Dream1E, alien teen Daya, (whose father is Randy- in red tee shirt (London- former teen and married to Lyka). Youngest is Dandy, son of Lyka & Randy and brother of Deanna, half brother of Daya. Last is Dean Dreamer, married to Dream1E the servo and big brother of Lyka.

So 4 years ago.... Lilith had to fire the Butler which was hard as he was her best friend but between him and Dream1E the family just had food thrown at them all the time and someone had to go...

Lilith then died of old age after a long and happy life where she loved her family, and loved music.

She left her beach house to Randy, which was odd given as how he isn't a direct relative. Perhaps they had the highest relationship score at the time of her death.

Anyway... 4 years on I decided it was time to visit that vacation house...

I stuck to Lyka, Randy and their kids leaving Dean & Dream1E at home.

 How funny that the only part of Daya to not 'tan' is his clavicles.

 The kids all tanned easily whilst Randy in the background felt the burn.

 Lyka stayed a healthy shade of pale whilst the ghost ship captain shared a Sea Chantey.

 Sometimes the locals were friendly and helpful whilst other times they fought, and this has been going on for 11 rounds so it's nothing new. Deanna appears to be attracted to the most troublesome, naturally. :D

Daya seemed to be the keenest on learning new things and collecting items.

All too soon they were returning home to Dean and Dream1E and the original Dreamer house.

Dandy had missed the family cat Daley, now quite an aged cat and one of several pets the Dreamer family have owned through the generations.

 Dean is not a very exciting Sim, perma plat for ages he enjoys silly things and wants for nothing.

 Dream1E loses her charge quite quickly and powers up by the road.

She still enjoys meeting new people.

As do Deanna and Dandy who either meet them as passerby's or bring friends home from school. Deanna is a fortune loving Sim who wants to earn 100K as soon as possible and like most kids Dandy shows wishes to skill and make friends, we will see what the dice rolls for him as time goes on.

Daya got promoted and became an overachiever. As a knowledge Sim he loves to learn new things and is hoping to one day be a City Planner.

The cowplant eaten ghost of Ricky Cormier comes out to haunt. He is not a happy ghost.

 Dandy celebrated his first A+ with mother Lyka watching on.

 Daley made it to a great 38 days old. Farewell kitty, enjoy your biggest cat nap.

Everyone brought someone home on Wednesday. 

Normally it's kite creator Randy who rides the lightning but today Dean decided to have a go...

oh dear....

He didn't make it, I think Randy's reference to a chimney may be a bit too soon with the dark humour eh? 

 Lyka had a little weep for her big brother.

and remembered happier times when she glanced over her wedding photo at Twikkii Island, here with Dad Dirk, Mother Lilith, Dean and Randy.

 For the last time Ricky Cormier, I'm sorry the cowplant ate you!

Yes you too Phil Jitmakusol! But Lilith wanted the cowplant to eat you (back in an early round) and we never argued with Lilith.

Even Darleen's ghost has her own picture in this house.

On Thurday Daya got a wish come true when he went seeking out his elusive father. 

He never saw his dad but got a nice scholarship.

However, idiot moi pressed the wrong choice and chose 'send to college' instead of 'apply for scholarship' and so Daya went off in a taxi. Luckily he had his other scholarships even though he missed out on the alien abduction one.

Deanna also joined him as I considered them 'twins' seeing as how they were born within hours of each other (and both wished for college) it was just a little earlier than planned! He got a tattooed look and she got a cute new hairstyle.

 Once they'd left Lyka and Dandy immediately wished for a kitten, and so little Charlotte Caliente joined the family where she was renamed 'Daisy'.

 Dream1E assumed she would be immune to the cake loving cowplant.

she was wrong... *whistles innocently*

no-one wanted to make food anymore so Dandy chose to eat a 'safer' kind of cake.

 Ghost grandpa Dirk popped through the wall for a visit.

as did little dog Jacques.

and Lilith.

Daisy grew up the next day, love her little stripy leg.

 

The family went to the park for some much needed fun and to be sociable with their neighbours.

Ooh your big birthday Dandy, what will you wish for?

Family it is!

hmm, it's a bit 'old man golf' for my taste but let's go with it. :D

He looks like his recently departed Uncle Dean and has a lifetime wish to be a Celebrity Chef.

Even ghosts love the Dreamer parties, Darren stopped by as did Dean.

 you can't keep the college kids away for long and all the neighbours had fun.

Damn you Demi Love, you are such a spoilsport!

So now Dandy is in love with her, I may just have to add her family to the list sometime this round! She has expressed a wish to go to college when Dandy asked her so perhaps they'll both go at some point.

 Sunday saw both Lyka & Randy into elderhood! Heh, the 'old man golf' print is catching, :D

Lyka got a nicer hairstyle and some pink lippy.

 Both Darleen and Dream1E's ghosts came out to the party, heh, never seen a servo ghost before.

Neither had that 'fun loving' (not!) policewoman Demi, as she went round the entire house until 6am trying to break up the party. :D

In the meantime the water and cleaning bots had broken and chaos had ensued all over the yard.

Darleen decided to have one last scare before her ghost went off to 'sleep' for the day.

and Lyka survived to enjoy the rest of her party!

Summary;-

as always a crazy week here at The Dreamer house! 

I'm afraid I'd run out of ideas for Dean and Dream1E and so I let nature take it's course with a little nudge here and there.

The plan was to send the teens to Uni on Sunday but it didn't matter too much and gave me time with Dandy and his parents on their own for a few days which was fun.

Lots of 'see ghosts' wishes fulfilled and a few 'death' fears as well, I just missed the photo op's when they happened, :D
