Welcome to the first Uni update.
The Fraternity boys are Guy Wrightly, Matthew Hart & Mickey Dosser. They are joined by Mardy Goth who got fed up of living on his own and decided to spend his Senior Year here.
This is their home and also joining this round is Leo Pleasant.
Mardy is romance sim and loves to preen.
I decided the house should have a 'quirk' and so all members who live here have to wear a hat of some sort.
The boys are friendly with the girls from the Sorority house, Matthew and Sarah still have love hearts for each other but don't show any particular wishes either way at the moment.
The same can't be true for Mickey Dosser and Jessie Pilferson! But then they are both romance sims.
Mickey knuckled down and got his grades back up by actually going to class and learning some skills, he also enjoys planting the garden plots.
The tv is always on, the stereo is also always on, not to mention various musical instruments. It's a LOUD house. :D

Having so many friends made the house a level 6 immediately and so the goodies started to be brought back.
Not to mention lots of free pizza.... I mean lots. :)
Leo actually wished for a Political Science major. Often a day or so after they arrive they wish for it so I let them choose if they do.
He just had a pledge do his college work for him which is a nice perk!
Mardy can't escape his Romance wishes and often has a different girl back.

oooh, Guy was the first one to be inducted into the Secret Society out of the original 3.
Does anyone else find it odd that they are handcuffed and put in the back of the Limo but when they arrive they jump out the front seat?
Maybe part of the initiation is in the journey- 'Get out of handcuffs and into the front seat before we get there!'
There's always a party going on.
oh ok, and a little bit of study here and there.
But mostly a party!
Once we meet the Frat boys again Mardy will be in his final semester, Guy will be Junior 1, Matthew Sophomore 1 and Leo and Mickey heading for Sophomore 2.
I'm never quite sure how to fit Uni into my rounds, I tend to play one house in the 'hood then one semester in Uni and back to the 'hood and so on, what does everyone else do?
I always play college at the end of the round, and all at once. But you can do whichever way works for you.

DeleteYou know my method - strictly along the alphabet. When a Sim is at college when it is their turn to be played, then it is the college household.
ReplyDeleteAnd like you, I let them choose their major, it ususally gives them a nice boost wish-wise.
That house sounds very much like what Maxis intended the fraternity house to be like - loud and always a party going on :-)
Yes I like your way of playing, how long a time do you play at University each time as I know you play a sim week in the ‘hood?
