OLDIE-HANBY FAMILY- Round 12- House 7

Welcome back to The Oldie-Hanby family. 

They live here in this Maxis made house, just modified a little by me.

This is the home of Harry, his parents were ex maid Lucy Hanby and Herb Oldie.

Harry married townie Christy and they had 4 children, 2 sets of twins- Sally & Hayley and Charlie & Harley all who inherited their Grandma Lucy's red hair.

Not shown on the family tree is young Andy, he is the son of Sally & Aldric. Sally married Aldric Davis after meeting him in college. 

Aldric got a job in the Criminal career as per his wishes. He spent most of the day feeling sick so just chilled and chatted with passerby's until Andy came home all excited with his first A+.

Family pet Abbey came home from work and immediately aged to Elder. 

Her son Scamp came out to greet her.

Scamp is the offspring of Abbey and Smokey- a wolf that was adopted by Harry.

Sally has been an Education Minister for some time, she celebrates coming home with her good friend Eduardo Caliente.

She just has time for a quick shower then goes outside to see her mum Christy moving on with a Mojito.

Aldric missed the passing of his mother-in-law as he was tucking into some hearty soup he found in the refrigerator which melted his sickness away.

Christy left a nice inheritance. In her later years she enjoyed all nature activities and loved dancing with her husband Harry.

At dusk every evening Harry feels overcome by strangeness....

He turns into a werewolf. 

The best thing about werewolfyness is that Harry can train his pets in double quick time and wastes no time teaching Scamp some new tricks.

Now Autumn has set in Sally makes some more weather appropriate outfits for the family.

Another wolfy benefit is that Harry can 'summon wolves' to his lot. He is looking for one in particular.

Here she is, Mags the grey wolf. Harry befriended her last time and just needed a quick few strokes/belly rubs to adopt her. She knew Smokey anyway and in no time at all they were off trying for wolf cubs.

Andy bought his friend Candice J Worthington III home from school next day.

Upon hitting his 70th birthday Harry retired. Hello Freedom!

The 'biggest' feature about Harry (inherited from his mother Lucy) is his nose. A family trait that both his twin sons possess. He wonders if his grandson will inherit it in time? :D

Andy become a teen later that day. He rolls to be a Family Sim.

Before his party is over he heads out to tend the garden and gets his gold badge.

His Dad Aldric is promoted to Counterfeiter.

The family head to a community lot.

They are here at Gladrags to buy Andy a cell phone for his birthday.

With 4 dogs on the lot the postie can barely get away without having to stroke, play or be chased by one of them. :D

Andy is undecided about college but sets about working on skills anyway. He was scared by the ghost of Karen Gast, former nanny who was eaten by the cowplant.

'enjoying' some of his families' career rewards

Sometimes the easiest way to skill is to drink eggplant juice and there are many stocked juicers with Lucy and now Andy being into the garden plots.

The first wolf cub arrives when little Shadow is born.

Then I  realised that of course I want Scamp to continue the family line so he mated with Mags.

Sally brings home sister-in-law Melanie Gregory. Melanie is married to Harry's (adopted) brother Alvin.

On Friday Aldric became a Criminal Mastermind. He later won 55K on a chance card.

With the dogs all being in careers except Mags it was time for some new collars so they went for a trip to Pepe's Pets.

I'm always slightly concerned when I see other playables browsing for animals as it's my rule to accept if a pet is added to a family. :D

Hmmm, there's Noah Pleasant buying 'something', it'll be a while before we find out what!

Having chatted to both Meadow and the girl behind the counter, Andy opts to go out (with permission) with the girl behind the counter, Ericka. :D

Another day, another new outfit for Sally. As it's Sunday and family are on the way Sally decides it's time to change the decor. Her Mum's 'red' is a little dark to her taste so she brightens things up...

 

Just in time for her first guest (brother Charlie) to arrive.

I modified colours where I could with existing furniture but added curtains, painting and walls/floor and a new rug.

The party room had the wood panelling changed on the walls but remains the same otherwise.

Aldric realised a big wish when he made his 30th best friend.

Later on Sunday a new half-wolf cub Sienna is born as the winter sets in and the first snowfall appears to have chilled Harry out a little too much. 

This ends a fun filled week at the Oldie-Hanby house!

Summary- I am looking forward to seeing what the two cubs, one full wolf and one half wolf look like as adults.

I realised after playing this home that my image settings were only on medium, and so that has changed to 'large' for the next home which should give better clarity in the photos. :D

All Sims are perma plat- Andy was as a child having earned a magical lamp and wishing for that permanent happiness back then so I didn't particularly go for any wishes, just a few to mix things up and keep it interesting. 

Will Andy go to college next time? Will he get the Hanby nose? Will Sally keep cheering when she returns home from work and will Harry stay a werewolf for the rest of his days? Find out next time. :D
