The Terrano family- Round 12- House 9

 

Welcome back to the Terrano household.  Residing here are Lily (daughter of Lilith (Pleasant) and Dirk Dreamer), she is married to Blade Terrano who is the natural born son of Dustin (Broke) and his wife Stella Terrano. Leaf the plantsim was born when Dustin himself was a plantsim for a while.

Youngest member of the family is Ash who is the son of Blade & Lily, their eldest son Rowan headed to college with half sister Tulip (born from abduction to Blade). I'm hoping Ash will be 'heir' as he has the great green skin of his Grandma Stella who may be long gone but is missed.

While Lily whipped up some breakfast the boys caught up on their friendships.

Poor Leaf got fired when he took a bad decision from work. As he's an Elder he can no longer find a decent career and so will not look for another job now- it's not like this family need the money.

Blade invites his good friend from the islands Stephen Fraster to visit. He'll arrive tomorrow.

Blade teaches one of the cats (there are 3-Kitty, Fitz and Noir) a skill. Think this is Noir. :) Poor Leaf is having a slight meltdown about his job loss.

He recovers in time to go celebrate Ash's teen birthday.

Ash rolled Fortune, he likes make up and custom hair but not zombies. He may need to work on his conversation if he's going to impress the ladies though and he has a wish to one day become a City Planner.

He had better luck befriending some of his parents' old college buddies- that's Guy Wrightley with his back turned to us.

Although his 'dancing face' suggests a bad mood Ash had a great party, and check out Blade rocking the guitar.

The next morning as planned Stephen Fraster arrived at 10am.

Blade bought his friend Connie Goth (Granddaughter of Cassandra) home from school.

He then helped entertain their guest, they blew bubbles, 

watched a movie,

and had a great dinner, but then at 5:30pm Stephen announced he was leaving. He barely stayed for 8 hours. :)

Shortly after that...

two new kittens arrived to Kitty called Slate & Blanca. Their father was called Ronroneo and he died last round after also having Noir with Kitty.

Ash was about to praise Fitz for something and ghost cat Kim came and scared him!

everyone loves a kitten... :)

Yikes, Stella!

Leaf decided it was safer indoors and so started teaching Noir to roll over. You can see Fitz to the left and Kitty in the basket. Fitz & Kitty are siblings which is why Ronroneo was brought in last time to reproduce with Kitty.

Lily tends the garden started by her father-n-law Dustin, his and Stella's graves sit within the garden.

Blade & Lily enjoy playing with their own pets as well as any strays that wander by.

Leaf spends his days fairly idly now he's got no job.

Noir got a promotion on Wednesday.

The family headed to Pepe's pets to buy new collars for the cats.

Upon their return a Headmaster visit was called upon by Ash. Slightly creepy greeting by the Headmaster here, he must be good friends with Lily.

The conversation flowed freely and the Headmaster gladly accepted the latest member of the Terrano family into his school with a 47/41/59 score (147/90).

That night saw Dustin's ghost come out...

Also this townie teen- whose name escapes me, the greenness indicates he was eaten by the cowplant. :D

...and finally Stella, aww we miss you Stella.

aaarghhh! maybe not that much. ;)

In the early hours of Friday morning Leaf teaches Kitty to roll over.

Harley Hanby gets a shock from the security bot when he attempts to steal the newspaper.

Leaf is really close to his half brother Blade but has decided the time has come to branch out. (heh, no pun intended)

He leaves a parting gift (probably harvested goods) to Ash,

and with the blessing of his brother takes Fitz and Kitty with him to the Senior Residence.

Ash attempts and fails to make himself a midnight snack.

Instead he sneaks out with his good buddy Bobby Broke

They must have been out clubbing as Ash got invited to the music studio when he returned home.

He got another scholarship for college when he became an overachiever. 

As we're now into Autumn in the hood Lily got a warmer outfit. 

following in her late father-in-law's steps she made use of the sewing machine to level up.

Blade learned to repair relationships. 

On Sunday Ash gathered up his belongings and left for college.

Wow, does anyone else see the resemblance to his Grandad Dustin that I do?

Back at home and it's time for kittens Slate and Blanca to grow up.

Another decision was made to offload them. Blade's good friend and cleaner Alan Pai agreed to buy them.

The reason? They look identical to their brother Noir and it's just too confusing! With their mother Kitty's colouring I expected them to be rather more exciting. :D

Blade and Lily went to Pepe's pets to get a new companion for Noir...

Here she is... the beautiful 'Blue'. :)

Heh, hopefully they will make pretty kitties together.

Sunday afternoon saw Rowan and Tulip along with their fellow dormies come over as well as Lily's sister Lyka and her family.

hmm there seems to be some dispute between Rowan and his cousin Daya, I guess we'll find out about that soon... ;)

Noir reached the top of career. He and Blue are getting on pretty well and hope to have kittens next round.

ah... alone again... :)

Summary-

Always a fun round here at the Terrano house. 

As only Ash was in need of control the others pretty much did their own thing with a few hints from me here and there.

I've never yet had an islander stay past a day, I wonder what I'm doing wrong? 

I decided Leaf had to go and with him taking two of the cats it enabled me to start a new generation (hopefully) with Noir and Blue once I'd also offloaded the two latest kittens. We'll catch up with them briefly for a day or so in the Senior Residence then I will incorporate them into the play rotation but after my Uni round. Before that though I have two more families to blog!
